USA STANDARD SIEVES AND USA MESH CHART
Dual sieves are of the finest manufacture and meet all specs. The frames are made of heavy gauge brass and are drawn from one piece without a seam, the extended bottoms (skirts) of the sieves are also seamless and they are matched to fit all frames, pans and separator pans of the same diameter for convenient stacking. The cloth is hand soldered onto the frame, the skirt, then crimped over the cloth, and the circle of the contact between the cloth and the frame is smoothly filled with solder so no material is lost between the cloth and frame. Our nameplate shows sieve number, microns and nominal openings (in both millimeters and inches). A test sieve certificate of analysis is supplies with each sieve.
Each USA standard sieve is permanently etched with a individualized serial number per A.S.T.M.-E11 Specs. Allowing customers to trace sieve usage for quality control.
USA STANDARD DEEP FRAME/WET WASH SIEVES
Wash sieves (deep frame us std. Sieves) are generally used but not limited to wet testing ofvarious materials without losing any of the sample. 2-1/2" dia x 3" deep thru 12" dia. X 12" deep. Permanent and removeable mesh wash sieves available.

MARKET GRADE SIEVES AND MARKET GRADE MESH CHART
The usual sieves for grading purposes where the accuracy of the U.S. Standard sieves is not required. The mesh used in these sieves is made according to the "mesh" series; that is each sieve has a definite number of meshes to the linear inch. The wire of the sieves up to 100 mesh is brass; above 100 mesh the wire is phosphor bronze. The mesh is fitted into the frame and is held evenly and firmly, without sagging or distortion.
The frames are drawn, one piece, without seams. They are heavy to withstand hard usage, and the bottom of each sieve fits tightly into the top of any other sieve of this set and also into the receiver pans. Each sieve is supplied in a separate protecting carton.
